Our tour guide Dallas was an absolute hit. The jokes were flowing all day and he surely fulfilled his promise of seeing my first KANGAROO!
He also brought his two young and adorably British children James and Georgia.
We tasted 5 wines at McGuigan's, 8 at Lehmann (famous for their Queen of hearts logo), 6 at The Langmeil winery and 6 at Murray Street Vineyards. All had a few things in common: friendly staff, incredible surroundings and scrumptous wines. By the second tour I was already feeling tipsy --wouldn't you at 11 AM?!

In addition to confirming that I am NOT a red wine fan, I also discovered that Australia has a sparkling red wine. In Canada I have came across several sparking white wines, but never red. Very tasty, I definitely reccommend it if you have the opportunity to sample one.
Fun moment of the day: Being approached at the grocery store "Do I spot a Canadian accent?" I'm sure I'm not the only Canadian who has openely wanted an accent their whole life. Turns out we have one!?
All for now...
BIG THANKS to Clare and Virginia for making this happen. Along with the many dedicated friends who voted for me. I promise I'm doing my best to represent Canada well !
